翻譯西元曆來說, 摩西於1445 B.C.的4月7日領他們出埃及, 然後於1445 B.C.的7月7日從 神領十誡給他們。十誡是用希伯來文寫的(每行是由右至左, 行是由下向上)。
馬太福音 5:17 「莫想我來要廢掉律法和先知。我來不是要廢掉，乃是要成全。
馬太福音 5:18 我實在告訴你們，就是到天地都廢去了，律法的一點一畫也不能廢去，都要成全。
馬太福音 5:19 所以，無論何人廢掉這誡命中最小的一條，又教訓人這樣做，他在天國要稱為最小的。但無論何人遵行這誡命，又教訓人遵行，他在天國要稱為大的。
馬太福音 5:20 我告訴你們，你們的義若不勝於文士和法利賽人的義，斷不能進天國。」
Moses took them out of Egypt can be interpreted as something like on April 7, 1445 B.C. and then the 10 Commandments were given on July 7, 1445 B.C. The 10 Commandments were in the Hebrew so that the Commandments were written from bottom right corner toward left side and then the next line would be upward.
Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
Matthew 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Matthew 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them , the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 5:20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.
